Miele Dryer Button Stuck? Easy Fix Without Disassembly
Got called in for an older Miele dryer with a stuck button. No need for major repairs—just a simple fix.
Getting to the Button
The dryer was stacked, but that didn’t make the job any harder. To access the button, I carefully popped off the small covers on both sides and removed the screws underneath. Then, I lifted the top panel up and forward—nothing else holding it in place.
Fixing the Issue
Behind the wires, part of the control board was slightly out of position. A quick press, and everything clicked back into place. Reassembled the panel, and the button worked like new.
Takeaway
If your Miele dryer button gets stuck, don’t panic—it’s often just a minor alignment issue. A quick reset, and you’re back in business.
