Thermador Built-In Oven: Replacing Faulty Temperature Sensor & Noisy Blower
Got a call about a Thermador built-in oven that wasn’t heating properly. The temperature sensor wasn’t registering any resistance, and the blower had been making a lot of noise for a while. Both needed attention.
The Problem
The temperature sensor wasn’t reading any resistance, which was affecting the oven’s ability to regulate temperature. The blower had also been making a constant, loud noise, indicating something was wrong.
The Fix
I carefully disassembled the oven and removed the noisy blower. Then, I gently disconnected and took out the faulty temperature sensor, making sure not to damage any wires in the process. After replacing both parts, I reassembled everything.
The Result
With the new sensor and blower in place, the oven is working like new. No more noise, and it’s maintaining the right temperature again. Quick fix, and the oven’s back in action!
