Bosch Dishwasher E15 Error: Constant Draining and Cycle Issues Fixed
I was called to a Bosch dishwasher that was constantly draining, and the E15 error was showing up, preventing the cycles from running. The homeowner couldn’t get the unit to function properly, so I began diagnosing the issue.
Identifying the Problem
After pulling the dishwasher out and checking the system, I found that the water valve was leaking slowly, which caused water to trickle into the bottom tray. This triggered the sensor and caused the unit to drain continuously, leading to the E15 error. With the valve malfunctioning, none of the cycles would work.
Fixing the Issue
I replaced the leaking water valve, which stopped the constant draining and cleared the error. Once the new valve was installed, I ran a full cycle, and everything worked as it should.
