The customer reported that the refrigerator was no longer maintaining proper temperatures. Our diagnosis revealed a sealed system failure, resulting in a loss of refrigerant and reduced cooling performance.
The repair included locating and correcting the leak, rebuilding the sealed system, replacing the necessary components, performing a deep vacuum, and recharging the system with the correct amount of refrigerant. All operating pressures and temperatures were verified after the repair.
Following the sealed system rebuild, the refrigerator returned to normal cooling operation and is once again maintaining proper temperatures in both the fresh food and freezer compartments.
