The customer wanted to keep a classic O’Keefe & Merritt stove in service despite its age. One of the surface burners was not operating properly due to a failed gas valve, making the stove partially unusable.
After diagnosing the issue, we sourced and replaced the defective gas valve and tested the burner for proper ignition and flame control. Special care was taken due to the age of the appliance, which is estimated to be over 60 years old.
Following the repair, the burner was fully restored and the vintage stove returned to normal operation, allowing the customer to continue enjoying this classic appliance for years to come.
