The customer noticed excessive ice buildup inside the refrigerator, which was affecting airflow and cooling performance. During the inspection, we found a clogged defrost drain line, a common issue on many Samsung refrigerators. As a result, water was unable to drain properly and repeatedly froze around the evaporator section.
The evaporator was completely defrosted, the drain line was cleared, and a drain heater was installed to help prevent future ice blockages. The entire defrost system was inspected and tested to ensure proper operation.
With the drain system restored and the heater installed, the refrigerator is now cooling properly and the recurring ice buildup issue has been resolved.
