The customer reported water continuously leaking onto the floor beneath the refrigerator. During diagnosis, we discovered that the issue was caused by a sealed system refrigerant leak. Because the refrigeration system was not operating correctly, the condensate water was no longer evaporating as designed and began accumulating underneath the unit.
We located and repaired the refrigerant leak, restored the sealed system, and recharged the refrigerator with the proper amount of refrigerant. The cooling performance and system operation were then thoroughly tested.
With the sealed system functioning properly again, the refrigerator returned to normal operation and the water leakage issue was eliminated, helping prevent further damage to the customer’s flooring.
