The customer reported that water was continuously entering the washer drum even when the machine was not in use. During diagnosis, we found that the inlet water valve had failed and was no longer closing properly, allowing water to slowly fill the tub.
The defective water valve was replaced with a new OEM component, and the washer was tested through multiple cycles to verify proper operation.
After the repair, the unwanted water flow was eliminated and the washer returned to normal operation. The drum now remains dry when the appliance is not running, preventing potential overflow and water damage.
